Ingredients:

  • 12-14 lb whole turkey

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened

  • Salt and pepper

Stuffing:

  • 1 loaf day-old bread, cubed

  • 1 cup diced celery

  • 1 cup diced onion

  • 1/4 cup fresh chopped herbs

  • 1/2 cup chicken broth

  • 2 eggs

  • Salt and pepper

Instructions:

  1. Prepare stuffing by mixing bread, vegetables, herbs, broth, and eggs.

  2. Preheat oven to 325°F

  3. Rinse turkey, pat dry

  4. Stuff turkey cavity loosely

  5. Rub exterior with herbed butter

  6. Roast 15 minutes per pound

  7. Let rest 20 minutes before carving
